Nokia C6-01 Smartphone Launched In India At Rs. 18,000



Nokia C6-01 touch-screen smartphone with Symbian 3 OS has been launched in India. The phone sports sleek and long body and comes in silver grey and black shades. The Nokia C6-01 comes priced at Rs. 18,000 for the Indian market.
The smartphone has 3.2 inches capacitive ClearBlack display that offers 360 x 640 pixels resolution. The phone has Internet and connectivity features- Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB on-the-go support and Nokia Ovi Maps with free navigation.
The other standard features like 8 mega pixels camera, stereo FM player,music player and 40 MB of internal memory expandable up to 32 GB with micro SD card. The Nokia C6-01 is enabled to record 720p video and is capacitated with VGA camera for video chat. The secondary camera in the phone comes with 0.3 mega pixels VGA Camera with 640 x 480 pixels.
The phone offers standby time of up to 420 hours 2G and up to 380 hours for 3G and talktime of up to 11 hours 30 minutes for 2G and up to 4 hours 30 minutes 3G.
Besides, applications like Ovi Music, Ovi Store can be accessed. Plus Facebook and Twitter come equipped in the phone.

Nokia Bicycle Charger To Be Introduced In India



Nokia is set to introduce bicycle charger for its select Nokia modelsmobile phone for the Indian market. The bicycle charger is expected to be launched in late February or early March.
The environment friendly phone is the first-of-its mobile phone to come equipped with such a technology. The technology allows the phone to accept energy by converting kinetic energy to electrical energy.
By peddling for just 20 minutes, the phone can be charged for one hour of talktime or 74 hours of standby time. The pictures so far released, shows the phone, while charging is attached to the handle of the cycle with the help of phone holder.
The Nokia 1202 that supports bicycle charger comes bundled with a charger, bottle dynamo and a phone holder. The complete kit, which is already available in Europe, is priced at Rs. 1,499 in India.

Nokia E7 Pre-Order Started At Amazon.com, Priced At $679



Nokia’s another advanced smartphone Nokia E7 model can now be pre-ordered from Amazon.com, sources said. According to reports, the high-end model of Nokia, which was announced in September 2010, is now available for pre-order.
The much awaited Nokia E7 comes priced at $679 from the online company Amazon.com.
The handset, which runs on Nokia’s Symbian^3, was announced in September this year. With QWERTY keypad, the phone comes with brilliant features. The Nokia E7 is equipped with a touch-screen extending for 4 inches and 8 mega pixels dual LED flash camera, 720p video playback HDMI and 16 GB without memory card slot.
The Nokia E7 model’s Internet features include GPRS/EDGE, 3G compatibility, Bluetooth 3.0 and HSDPA. The phone is enabled with full screen handwriting recognition and supports connectivity features High-Speed USB 2.0, micro USB connector, USB, Standard 3.5 mm AV connector and FM Radio.

Nokia Files Additional Law Suits Against Apple

In what can be called as interesting, Nokia has filed further lawsuits over Apple in various patent violations. Nokia is rivalling against Apple companyover smartphone’s.
Nokia, which is a Finland based company, has started their court cases in opposition to Apple company in Britain, Netherlands and Germany. They are doing this on various charges of stealing Nokia technology for its Apple iPod, iPhone, and iPad touch screen devices.
Already in the US, these both companies have cases. With this case, clash over the intellectual property (IP) in various countries widens. It is the fastest growing in technology market.
Interestingly, Apple, which is a US company, is already engaged in various patent arguments with HTC of Taiwan and Motorola of the US.

Nokia X5 Smartphone Now Lands In India


Nokia X5 a new smartphone from Nokia that runs on Symbian Series 60 hits Indian markets. The smartphone with 2.36 inches wide QVGA display comes with a slide out QWERTY keypad.
The Nokia X5 phone comes loaded with exciting smartphone features. Social networking features like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and Hi5 are supported by the phone. It also supports Instant Messaging services.
Besides, the phone is equipped with other standard features like 5 mega pixels camera with LED Flash, integrated speakers and special music keys.
The Nokia X5 comes with 2 GB microSD memory card and 200 MB internal memory. Its internet and connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0. Further, Nokia offers unlimited music for one year from its Ovi Music.
Another interesting feature in Nokia X5 is the ‘Surprise me!’ application which plays tracks randomly by just shaking the phone. Thephone can also withstand 16-days standby time or 24 hours music playback.
With the pack of entertainment features, Nokia X5 comes priced at Rs. 10,499.

Nokia C7 To Be Shipped In Less Cost



The newly released Nokia C7 is being marketed at about £69 less thanthe announced price by Nokia Direct. As per the reports, the handset will be offered to the customers on November 9.
This is the second Symbian ^3 smartphone that follows the other Symbian device, the Nokia N8.
The C7 is projected as a pretty set with excellent features. The device sports a 3.5-inch glass display with multi-touch feature. The handset wears a steel casing also. Nokia ClearBlack display is being integratedfor the first time in a Nokia device. Apart from that 2G, 3G, Bluetooth, 32GB microSD card support, 8MP camera with dual LED Flash and Geo-tagging are other interesting features with the set.
Nokia has already unveiled the C6 and the C7 at the Nokia World 2010 in September. Now the C7 is likely to face stiff challenge from rivals like the Samsung Galaxy S.
Major carriers like 3UK, T- Mobile and Carphone Warehouse will be selling the C7. T-Mobile has a nice offer through which the users can get the handset with 600 minutes talk time, 500 texts and 1GB internet download allowance for £25 per month.

Nokia C5-03



World's top handset maker, Nokia has launched a new affordable touchscreen mobile, the C5 on Thursday.
The new Nokia C5-03 sports a 3.2-inch resistive touchscreen and incorporates features like 5MP camera, WiFi, HSDPA, HSUPA, Bluetooth, A-GPS and Ovi Maps.
There is an interesting feature in the set like you can put the most important ones such as favorite contacts to straight onto the handset's homescreen. So, it helps in making a call or message or chat with the friends in an easier way.
The set supports an internal memory of 40MB and micro SD card support of upto 16GB. For the music lovers, the C5-03 is an excellent buy as it can provide playback time of 35 hours. The company provides 2GB memory card with the phone.
The C5 is run on Symbian^1 version operating system and encompasses a 1000mAh battery. The device offers 25 days of standbytime and 11.5 hours of talk time.
Nokia C5-03 is expected to be released in India by end of 2010 and the proce will be around Rs 10,700.
